About the Role

Emanate Technology is seeking a highly skilled Senior Developer to join a transformative digital program within a government department. This role is part of a collaborative team delivering a tailored application to support users in their day-to-day operations and improve service delivery across the organisation. You’ll work closely with solution architects, developers, business analysts, and testers to deliver high-quality software solutions.

**This role is based out of Brisbane but can be largely remote, with minimal travel required to the Brisbane office throughout the contract (must be based in Australia, ideally East Coast)**

What You Will Be Doing

• Designing and developing enterprise applications using Microsoft Dynamics and Power Platform.
• Building and maintaining solutions within an Azure environment.
• Collaborating with internal and external teams to produce design and architecture documentation.
• Managing source code and contributing to iterative development processes.
• Translating functional specifications and user stories into technical deliverables.
• Identifying opportunities to reduce technical debt and improve existing solutions.
• Providing technical leadership and mentoring to team members.
• Supporting the transition of new applications into BAU operations.

What You Will Bring

• 5+ years’ experience developing Canvas Apps and Microsoft Dynamics/Power Platform applications.
• Strong experience with C# plugins, JavaScript in Dynamics Forms, and Power Automate.
• Solid background in .NET stack development and DevOps practices.
• Proven experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Bonus Points For

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in government or public sector environments.
• Familiarity with complex multi-domain systems and WebAPI integrations.
• Knowledge of modern design patterns and architectures.
• Experience with ASP.NET, HTML, and CSS.
