What You'll Do

Leadership & Management:

Oversee daily salon operations and ensure seamless service delivery

Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of hairdressers and beauty therapists

Manage rosters, bookings, and appointment flow for optimal efficiency

Maintain our high standards across all service areas

Handle client feedback and concerns with professionalism and care

Foster a positive, supportive workplace culture aligned with Guava values

Collaborate with ownership on business strategy and growth initiatives

Monitor retail performance and support product recommendations

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and industry regulations

Hairdressing Services:

Maintain your own client base and deliver exceptional services

Specialise in or develop expertise in curly and textured hair

Mentor junior stylists and share your technical knowledge

Stay current with techniques, trends, and product innovations

Champion our low-tox, natural approach to hair care and colour

What We're Looking For

Essential:

Certificate III in Hairdressing (minimum) with current salon experience

Proven management or leadership experience in a salon environment

Strong technical skills across cutting, colouring, and styling

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Natural leadership ability with a collaborative, empowering approach

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

Professional maturity and sound judgment

Highly Desirable:

Certificate IV in Salon Management or business qualifications
