Rates: $45 - $55/hour (based on experience and location)

ChoiceOne is currently seeking experienced Painter Blasters for multiple positions across Perth, Henderson, and remote DIDO / FIFO locations. These roles offer a fantastic opportunity to work in high-quality facilities or out on site in the mining and heavy industrial sectors.

What’s on Offer:

Local roles based in East Perth, Henderson and Bibra Lake.

DIDO options with accommodation and meals provided.

Monday to Friday with optional overtime (for local roles).

Competitive hourly rates from $45 to $55, depending on experience and role.

Opportunities to work with industry leaders in the mining and heavy transport sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

Spray painting large surface items such as trucks, transport equipment, and vessels.

Sandblasting to specification and preparing surfaces to high standards.

Mixing and matching paints (including 2-pack paints) accurately.

Following detailed instructions and job documentation.

Maintaining accurate job records and timekeeping.

Promoting and adhering to a safety-first workplace culture.

Key Requirements:

Trade-qualified Spray Painter with a minimum of 2 years’ experience

Demonstrated experience with large surface areas and structural steel

Solid understanding of painting techniques and surface preparation

Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team

Good verbal and written communication skills

High attention to detail and pride in workmanship

Positive attitude, patience, and commitment to quality

Highly Desirable:

Current Forklift ticket (or willingness to obtain)

Experience operating overhead cranes

Background in the automotive industry

Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen

Valid National Police Clearance (within the last 6 months)
