Sparktech Electrical Maintenance is seeking skilled industrial maintenance electricians to join our growing team servicing leading FMCG and manufacturing clients across South East Queensland.

We support major brands in the food, beverage, and building materials industries — providing reactive maintenance, breakdown support, and shift cover across highly automated production environments.

You'll work with a variety of PLC-controlled equipment, safety systems, and process machinery, fault-finding at both the hardware and logic level to keep production running safely and efficiently.

🧰Key Responsibilities

• Perform reactive and preventative maintenance on PLC-driven machinery and automated production lines

• Fault-find using RSLogix 5000 / Studio 5000, tracing I/O, logic, and safety faults

• Diagnose and repair safety-related control systems (Pilz, GuardLogix, Sick, etc.)

•Work with VSDs, sensors, robotics, conveyors, and packaging equipment

• Ensure compliance with AS/NZS3000 and WHS standards

• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to minimise downtime

• Maintain accurate shift and breakdown reports

• Flexible to work rotating shifts, overtime or weekend work when required

🧠 What You'll Bring

• QLD Electrical Licence + CPR/LVR (required)

• Minimum 3+ years proven experience in industrial automation maintenance (FMCG, food/beverage, packaging, or manufacturing)

• Strong knowledge of Allen-Bradley PLCs, safety systems, and VSDs

• Experience with SCADA/HMI systems and fault-finding at logic level

• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills

• Ability to work safely, independently, and efficiently on 12-hour shifts

• Working at heights

• Current driver's licence and reliable transport
