We are working with a well known FMCG businesses based in Brisbane.

The Role We’re seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join our team on Night Shift 10pm - 6am, supporting a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct electrical maintenance, fault finding, and repairs on production and packaging equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance to minimise downtime and ensure plant reliability
• Troubleshoot and program PLC and VSD systems
• Work with instrumentation and control systems to ensure accurate performance and calibration
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to safety and efficiency projects
• Respond promptly to breakdowns and prioritise work to keep production running smoothly
• Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to resolve issues and identify long-term solutions

Skills & Experience

• Trade qualification as an Electrician
• Experience in FMCG or high-speed manufacturing environments (preferred)
• Strong knowledge of automation systems, including PLC and VSD programming
• Exposure to instrumentation and control systems
• A proactive approach to troubleshooting and continuous improvement
• Commitment to safety and minimising downtime
