About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our growing disability services team. In this rewarding role, you will work with clients across the lifespan who have diverse and complex needs. You will deliver holistic, evidence-informed interventions across home, community, and telehealth settings, supporting participants under the NDIS and other funding streams.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive functional and environmental assessments.

Develop and implement individualised, goal-directed intervention plans.

Provide therapy services in home, community, and telehealth settings.

Recommend, trial, and prescribe assistive technology and home modifications.

Prepare high-quality clinical reports, funding applications, and progress notes.

Collaborate closely with clients, families, carers, and multidisciplinary teams.

Provide supervision or mentoring to Allied Health Assistants where appropriate.

Participate in regular team meetings, supervision, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy (or equivalent).

Full AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist.

Demonstrated experience or strong interest in the disability sector and NDIS framework.

Knowledge of evidence-based practice and person-centred service delivery.

Excellent communication, documentation, and time management skills.

Current driver’s licence, NDIS Worker Screening Check, and Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain).

Desirable

Experience working with participants with complex physical, psychosocial, or developmental disabilities.

Experience mentoring or working with Allied Health Assistants or students.

Knowledge of assistive technology, functional capacity assessments, and home modifications.
