You’ll define and deliver our technology strategy, modernise our fintech platform, and introduce AI-driven innovation that helps thousands of Australians access smarter financial solutions.

This is a hands-on leadership role based at our Gold Coast HQ, leading a talented onsite engineering team and a larger offshore development team.

What you'll do:

Technology Strategy & Delivery

Define and deliver the technology roadmap aligned with business goals.

Oversee system architecture, design, and engineering excellence across platforms.

Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and on quality.

Lead the migration from a legacy CRM to a modern, scalable solution.

Roll up your sleeves when needed — you’re as comfortable coding as you are leading.

Technical Leadership

Backend: Guide robust backend services using .NET (4–8), C#, and Azure.

Frontend: Oversee modern, responsive apps using Angular + TypeScript.

Data & Integration: Design scalable SQL Server data models and secure API integrations with third-party services.

Innovation & Transformation

Drive AI and ML adoption to improve customer experience, fraud detection, and efficiency.

Champion digital transformation across hybrid and legacy systems.

Stay ahead of emerging fintech technologies to maintain our competitive edge.

Team Leadership

Lead and mentor a small, high-performing onsite team and a distributed offshore team.

Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation.

About you:

10+ years in software engineering and technology leadership.

Deep expertise in .NET (4–8), C#, Azure, Angular, TypeScript, SQL Server, Entity Framework.

Proven track record in delivering secure, scalable fintech or SaaS platforms.

Experience leading onshore/offshore teams and managing major system migrations.

Familiarity with AI/ML applications in financial services.

A hands-on leader who can balance strategy, delivery, and technical depth.

Salary Packaging:

Base Salary: $180,000–$200,000 + super

Annual Bonus: Up to 10% (based on delivery performance)
