About the role

More Care Support Services Pty Ltd is seeking a casual Support Worker to join our team in Melbourne VIC 3000. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients, helping them to live independently and with dignity.

What you'll be doing

Assisting clients with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping

Accompanying clients to appointments, social activities, and community events

Providing emotional support and encouragement to clients, promoting their wellbeing and independence

Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to client care

Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures, and safety protocols

What we're looking for

Relevant experience in the disability support sector

Experience supporting clients with complex care needs, including personal care and hygiene assistance

Confident in providing nappy changes, feeding assistance, and mobility support when required

Ability to maintain accurate shift notes and incident reports

A genuine passion for working with and supporting vulnerable individuals

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

The ability to work independently and as part of a team

A commitment to providing high-quality, person-centered care

Requirements for the role (Must Have)

NDIS Workers Screening Check

NDIS Workers Orientation Module Certificate

Working with children's check and First Aid Certificate

Valid Driver License and Car Insurance & A Reliable Vehicle

MUST hold a valid Australian Business Number (ABN) – this is a contractor role
