What you'll be doing

Providing personalised support to clients with a range of disabilities, assisting them with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation and community access

Empowering clients to develop independent living skills and achieve their personal goals

Skilled in working with people experiencing mental health challenges and fostering meaningful, therapeutic connections

Advocating for clients and collaborating with their support networks to ensure their needs are met

Maintaining detailed client records and contributing to the development of care plans

Adhering to all organisational policies, procedures and safety standards

What we're looking for

Minimum Certificate III or above in Individual Support

Minimum 1 year experience in community services or disability support is required

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients

A genuine passion for supporting people with disabilities to live independently

A current First Aid certificate and appropriate police clearance

Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays

Current Ochre Card or the ability to obtain one is required

Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance must be held

Current NT Drivers Licence must be held

Valid Australian work visa is required for this position
