Assistant Manager | Pioneer Tavern

We’re on the hunt for our next Assistant Manager to help keep the Pioneer Tavern buzzing and loved by the locals.

Sitting just off The Northern Road in Penrith South, The Pioneer Tavern is a local favourite and pillar in the community.

We believe in delivering experiences to remember, whether it is a long overdue family lunch in our Family Bistro or a quick stop in for a beer in our Sports Bar with mates. No matter what the occasion, we strive to deliver quality service, delicious food and refreshing brews.

A day in the life of an Assistant Manager:

• Get to know the locals so well they think you’re part of the crew
• Support the Publican to keep the pub running smoothly, safely, and with a great vibe
• Learn the ropes of being a Publican while leading a team of absolute hospo legends
• Handle hiccups before they turn into headaches
• Bring the energy, the service, and the smiles every single shift

About you:

• You’ve been around the bar, bistro, or gaming room block, and maybe already done some supervising
• You’ve learned from great managers and now you’re ready to step up
• You’ve got the confidence, pride, and people skills to be the face of the pub when the boss is away
• You’ve got a current RSA and RSG/RCG as per state requirements
