Bridges are seeking to employ a Full time Program Lead – Early Intervention Youth Services to ensure the successful implementation and delivery of the new Regional Reset Program for the Bundaberg and Hervey Bay region and the Bail Response Service - Bundaberg, funded by the Qld Department of Youth Justice and Victim Support.

Mandatory requirements include

· Academic qualifications in related industries e.g. social work, psychology, education, welfare, policing etc. with a minimum of 4 years’ experience in the community and/or health sector

· Experience in supervising and managing a small team of youth workers including cultural workers representing First Nations and CALD communities

· Extensive experience working with children and young people ages 8 - 17, and their families in community settings, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders and CALD

Skills required include

· High level of cultural competency, trauma informed practice wisdom and experience, advanced therapeutic skills working with children youth and families.

· Excellent communication and stakeholder relationships skills,

· Highly disciplined in managing time and resources and meeting deadlines.

Remuneration – Level 6.1 SCHADS award (approx. $110K per annum) plus employee benefits such as 12% superannuation, Salary sacrificing (pre-tax) including additional entertainment benefits total value = $18459 per FBT year, plus 5 extra days of health and wellbeing leave per annum (after the 1st year of continued service and commitment in the role).
