Your New Role: Experienced Plant Operator

WTC is actively seeking experienced plant operators to join our growing team. As a plant operator, you will play a crucial role in delivering flood recovery work in the Goondiwindi region for our road construction team.

Experienced operator positions available include:

Roller Operators

Semi Water Cart Operators

Hourly rates for the above roles will be based on experience and qualifications.

To be considered for these roles you must:

Have prior learning or RII ticket or equivalent for one or more of the machines mentioned above, and be able to provide evidence of this.

Current driver’s licence.

Be prepared to undergo a medical assessment and obtain clearance.

The candidate would have an advantage if they hold TMI qualification

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Operational excellence: Demonstrate proficiency and self-motivation in operating equipment.

Safety focus: Prioritise and adhere to safety protocols and guidelines in all operational activities.

Equipment expertise: Showcase your hands-on experience with 2+ years of operating.

Qualifications: Possess RII tickets or equivalent qualifications for one or more of the specified machines

Work Referees: Provide contact details of at least three work referees who can attest to your skills and performance.

To excel in this role, you will need:

Experience and qualifications: A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience is desirable but not essential .

Problem-solving skills: Demonstrate a proven ability to solve operational challenges and adapt to varying project requirements.

Work ethic: Maintain a strong work ethic, taking pride in delivering high-quality craftsmanship.

Precision: Exhibit accuracy and reliability in equipment operation.

Attention to detail: Strike a balance between urgency and attention to detail, ensuring efficient and accurate project execution.

Communication skills: Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and project stakeholders.
