About the role:

Airlinx Industries is seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator/Metal fabricator to join our team in Noble Park North, VIC. It's a full time position with a variety of fabrication challenges.

What you'll be doing:

Performing high-quality welding and fabrication work on a variety of frames and cages.

Utilising a range of welding techniques, such as MIG/MAG, and Stick welding, to meet project requirements

Read, understand, and follow job order specifications, engineering drawings, and/or work orders.

Collaborating with the broader team to identify and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the fabrication process.

Contribute ideas and knowledge to improve processes and outcomes.

Use all hand tools, power tools, and workshop equipment safely and effectively.

Maintaining a clean and organised work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly maintained.

What we're looking for:

Trade qualification in welding, fabrication, or metal work.

Minimum 5+ years of welding/fabrication experience required.

Certificate III level trade qualification or equivalent required.

Strong technical skills and knowledge of welding techniques, including MIG/MAG, and stick welding

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

Ability to work efficiently and independently, you will be responsible for your own task completion and deadlines

Reliable, physically fit, and a team player.

Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.

Annual Salary is $70,000 - $75,000 plus super and position allowance. Overtime is available.
