The Role
We’re looking for a friendly and organised Casual Bookkeeper, Office All-Rounder to support our office operations 3 days per week. This flexible role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety, can work alone, is detail-oriented, and thrives in a small, supportive team environment.
You’ll be the first point of contact for new and current employees and assist with a range of accounting, administrative, HR, and office support tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Provide admin support to the Director, Office Manager .
Process and match statements in both Xero and MYOB software
Accurately process fortnightly payrolls for all employees using MYOB software
Ensure all accounts payable queries are addressed in a timely manner
Invoicing
Maintain employee records and assist with HR documentation.
Keep timesheets, dockets, and internal records accurate and up to date.
General office duties including filing, photocopying, and maintaining a tidy workspace.
Assist with private works and other tasks as needed.
What We’re Looking For
Minimum 2 years' experience in bookkeeping/payroll and account's role
Strong attention to detail and accuracy with numerical data
An intermediate to high level of knowledge and experience using MYOB payroll software.
Experience and ability to process timesheets
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Proven experience in being able to handle confidential information with integrity
Knowledge in Microsoft/Outlook/Word/MYOB/Excel/PowerPoint will be highly regarded
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Ability to successfully embrace and adapt to change
HR Experience desirable but not essential
Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
