Key Accountabilities

This position reports directly to Gateway Housing Executive Officer

Attend and participate in Individual Supervision and Team Meetings

Actively work to achieve the goals of Gateway Housing strategic plan

Develop, strengthen and deliver family person-centered housing worker practice

Facilitate effective teamwork and support co- workers to achieve family, team, organisational and professional goals.

Use quality strategies to ensure that good practice principles are achieved, and service delivery is continuously improving

Follow direction of the Gateway Housing executive officer

Promote professional and positive relationships with external stakeholders

Work actively to develop a positive, collaborative and respectful culture within Gateway Housing.

Implement effective documentation on SharePoint and electronic tenant files on SHIP

Essential Qualifications:

Diploma or Certificate IV in Community Services, Social Work, or related field

Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card)

Current National Police Check

Essential Experience:

Minimum 12 months' experience in community services, social work, or housing support

Experience working with vulnerable individuals or families

Case management or client support experience preferred

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Experience with database systems and electronic record keeping

Ability to learn new software platforms including SHIP and SharePoint

Additional Requirements:

Current Australian driver's licence and access to reliable vehicle

First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain within 3 months)

Eligibility:

Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or valid work visa

Ability to pass pre-employment screening checks
