About the Role

An education company, a client of ICG, is delivering a large-scale customer and data remediation initiative focused on accuracy, compliance, and operational assurance.

We are seeking an experienced Remediation Senior Specialist / Paralegal Lead to oversee daily remediation operations, manage a team of Remediation Agents, and ensure all casework meets rigorous quality assurance and governance standards.

This role is suited to senior paralegals, compliance professionals, or case management leads experienced in managing structured investigations, documentation, and the resolution of complex record discrepancies.

Location: Sydney (hybrid options available)
Duration: 6 months (with possibility to extend)

Key Responsibilities

Lead and supervise the remediation team (agents, analysts, and communications specialists).

Manage allocation, prioritisation, and tracking of remediation cases.

Review and sign off on completed cases, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance.

Apply legal and procedural reasoning to complex or ambiguous cases.

Oversee quality assurance sampling and drive process improvements.

Work closely with governance and compliance representatives on systemic issues.

Prepare operational dashboards and weekly reports for senior management.

Provide coaching and technical guidance to team members.

Skills & Experience Required

Background in paralegal, compliance, or legal operations, with strong case review and documentation experience.

Proven ability to manage high-volume, detail-oriented casework.

Deep understanding of data accuracy, record management, and procedural compliance.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, including drafting formal case summaries.

Excellent organisational and analytical skills with an eye for audit trails and evidence management.

Proficiency with Excel and exposure to Power BI or similar reporting tools.

Prior experience in education, financial services, legal, or government sectors desirable.
