An opportunity exists for an experienced Project Manager to join a leading Australian bank, for an initial 6 month contract, with a good chance of being extended. The role will be delivering a new home loan product as part of a strategic transformation in the consumer lending space.

This role requires a hands-on delivery professional with proven experience managing end-to-end projects within retail or consumer banking, ideally focused on mortgages, lending, or home loan systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and drive the development and delivery of a new home loan product
• Manage cross-functional teams across business, operations, and technology
• Oversee delivery plans, budgets, and stakeholder communication
• Identify risks and dependencies, ensuring timely issue resolution
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to align on business outcomes

About You

• 7+ years' experience as a Project Manager within banking or financial services
• Strong background in lending, mortgages, or home loan product delivery
• Experience managing multiple streams across business and tech
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on delivery environment

Contract Details

• Daily rate: up to $1,040 + super
• Hybrid working: 3 days onsite in Sydney
• Initial 6-month engagement, with strong potential to extend
• Start date: 1st week of November
