About the role
We’re seeking compassionate and reliable Support Workers to provide person-centered care and companionship to a valued client in Ardeer. You’ll play an important role in maintaining safety, wellbeing, and engagement at home and in the community.

• Provide respectful and safe daily living support, including personal care, domestic tasks, and companionship
• Assist with manual handling and mobility using equipment such as a powered wheelchair and Sara Steady
• Support medication preparation, light cleaning, laundry, and meal assistance as needed
• Encourage and assist with physio exercises and community activities (accompany when required)
• Work collaboratively with the client and his family, following clear communication and care instructions

About you

• Hold a Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, or Aged Care (or equivalent experience)
• Confident in manual handling, wheelchair support, and safe client mobility techniques
• Compassionate, patient, and engaging — able to build rapport and communicate clearly with clients with ABI
• Professional and flexible, following direction while showing initiative to support independence
• A team player who respects boundaries and client preferences (no strong fragrances or fabric softeners)
