Licensed Capacity: 98
Hourly Rate: $35.35 – $43.54 per hour (depending on qualification and experience)

About the Role

At Busy Bees at Castlemaine, we are looking for enthusiastic and flexible Casual Educators to join our Hive. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a collaborative environment, and is passionate about supporting children’s learning and wellbeing.

As a Casual Educator, you will:

Support educators in delivering engaging, play-based learning programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).

Build nurturing relationships with children, families, and colleagues.

Maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.

Adapt to different rooms and routines as needed.

Work collaboratively with educators to ensure smooth daily operations.

What You’ll Need

Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA-approved).

Current Working with Children Check (Employee) – VIC.

Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certification.

Sound understanding of EYLF and National Quality Standards (NQS).

Flexible, reliable, and confident working across all age groups.

Flexible shifts across Monday to Friday (6:30 AM – 6:30 PM).
