The Integrated Systems Manager plays a critical leadership role in enabling the Mint’s service and product delivery with a strong focus on managing stakeholder relationships, operational excellence, product quality, and business improvement.

This role is responsible for the implementation, maintenance, and auditing of the Mint’s Integrated Management System (IMS), ensuring compliance with applicable to the standards the Mint holds by the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO). The position also leads the analysis, reporting, and interpretation of organisational performance data to identify opportunities and drive strategic improvements.

Leading a team of skilled business improvement practitioners, the Manager provides enterprise-wide support for change management initiatives. They apply proven frameworks and lead cross-functional projects to embed lasting improvements across the organisation.

The duties of this position include:
1. Implementing, maintaining and maturing the IMS as the Mint’s unified management system for coordinating activities.
2. Developing and implementing the IMS audit program to assess its efficacy and conformance to relevant ISO standards and coordinating the ISO certification of the IMS.
3. Leading the analysis and reporting of strategic and operational performance, including business improvement projects that follow a defined project (i.e. concept design and feasibility, development, operational readiness, implementation and review).
4. Developing and applying business improvement and change management frameworks that support innovation and continuous improvement.
5. Empowering the Mint with change management support, governance structure to embed improvements.
6. Leading a team of business improvement practitioners to understand the operating context and collaborate with all Branches to implement changes to realise shared organisational goals.

Security clearance
This position requires a Baseline security clearance. The successful applicant will be required to obtain and maintain a clearance at this level.

Qualification
Tertiary qualification in business managemenr, engineering/science or equivalent experience preferred.
