For the 2026 school year, Garden College invites applications for the following positions:
1. Primary Teacher (Junior Primary – Reception to Year 2)
Location: Primary Campus, Parafield Gardens SA
2. Secondary Teacher – Science/Mathematics (Years 7–10)
Location: Secondary Campus, Modbury SA
Key Responsibilities
The successful applicants will:
Actively support and promote the Islamic identity, values, and ethos of the College.
Deliver engaging, student-centred lessons using contemporary and inclusive pedagogies.
Design evidence-based learning programs informed by student data, with a focus on literacy, numeracy, and subject-specific outcomes.
Foster a safe and supportive learning environment that promotes student wellbeing and positive character development.
Build effective partnerships with students, families, colleagues, and the wider community.
Demonstrate a commitment to Child Safety in accordance with South Australian child protection laws, ensuring the wellbeing and safety of all students.
Demonstrate a commitment to continuous professional learning and collaborative practice.
Teaching Requirements (South Australia)
Applicants must:
Hold a recognised teaching qualification.
Applicants must hold a recognised teaching qualification from an approved institution.
Be currently registered or eligible for registration with the Teachers Registration Board of South Australia (TRBSA).
Hold a current Working With Children Check (WWCC) clearance.
Hold current Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect – Education and Care (RRHAN-EC)certification.
Hold current First Aid training (HLTAID004/HLTAID012 or equivalent).
Demonstrate sound knowledge of the Australian Curriculum and, for secondary roles, familiarity with SACErequirements.
