Quinton Anthony is working with a leading national construction company who focus on the industrial and commercial sectors. With a strong pipeline of projects in Sydney they are seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join the team.

The Opportunity

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing business as a key part of the team with a builder known for delivering industrial projects. Your responsibilities focus overseeing and managing the coordination of all site activities, ensuring the project progresses according to schedule, budget, and quality standards.

Work closely with clients, subcontractors, and project managers, while ensuring compliance with safety and QA procedures.

Managing documentation, procurement, and financial reporting

Coordinate procurement with the commercial team

Review design documentation, and coordinate with consultants to manage issues

Project Coordination

Manage and coordinate all site activities and programming.

Assist in preparing and updating short term programs and identify critical tasks in collaboration with Site and Project Managers.

Construction Stage

Coordinate site procurement and manage subcontractor quotations and feedback.

Liaise with subcontracts on-site to resolve RFI’s.

Assist with purchasing schedules and subcontractor order management.

Review and update site documentation, including drawings and shop details.

Quality Assurance and Safety

Assist in implementing and maintaining project QA/QC systems including ITP’s, checklists and QA registers.

Participate in toolbox talks, pre-starts, site safety walks, including taking and distributing minutes.

About You

To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and qualifications:

Tertiary qualification in Construction Management

Experience as a Site Engineer, ideally on industrial or commercial projects

Excellent communication skills, written and verbal

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Knowledge of building code and standards

Knowledge of construction practices, safety and regulations Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Project, Teams, BuildPass and Bluebeam
