About the role

We are seeking an experienced Crane Operator / Rigger to join our team at in Darra, QLD. This is a full-time position where you will play a key role in the safe and efficient operation of our crane fleet. As a Crane Operator / Rigger, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of challenging construction projects across South East Queensland.

What you'll be doing

Operating cranes of various sizes and capacities in a safe and responsible manner

Performing pre-operational checks and maintaining detailed logs of crane activities

Rigging and unrigging loads, selecting appropriate slings and lifting equipment

Coordinating with site personnel to ensure the smooth and timely completion of lifts

Adhering to all relevant safety standards and regulations

Providing mentorship and guidance to less experienced team members

Participating in ongoing training and professional development

What we're looking for

Minimum 5 years' experience as a Crane Operator / Rigger in the construction industry

Current High Risk Work Licence (HRWL) for the operation of cranes

Current HR Licence

Strong knowledge of crane operation, rigging, and load charts

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Commitment to safety and a proactive approach to risk management

Problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure

Willingness to work overtime and weekends as required
