For this new position, we seek an enthusiastic Facilities Assistant to provide labour and physical assistance across all areas of Facilities including maintenance and grounds. This position will assist with the completion of building and general maintenance tasks, deliveries, vehicle and fleet management activities, security and emergency procedures, equipment checking and tagging, and other related manual tasks.

To be successful in this new role, you will demonstrate:

Australian residency and the right to work in Australia permanently

Some exposure to general maintenance and labouring

Mechanical aptitude and an interest in working with tools and maintenance equipment

Good communication and collaboration skills and the ability to work as part of a hard working team

The ability to manage your time and work without constant supervision

A personable, customer focussed 'can-do' manner with sensitivity to working in a school environment

A potential interest in gaining a trade qualification

Basic IT skills
