About the role

Far and Wide Support Services Pty Ltd is seeking a passionate and dedicated Community Support Worker to join our team in Moreton Bay, QLD. This is a casual role that will involve providing compassionate care and support to elderly and disabled members of our local community. As a Community Support Worker, you will play a vital part in enhancing the quality of life for our clients and helping them to live independently in their own homes.

What you'll be doing

Assisting clients with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping

Providing companionship and social engagement to help reduce isolation and promote well-being

Supporting clients to access community resources and attend appointments

Advocating for client needs and collaborating with other healthcare professionals

Maintaining detailed client records and documentation

Adhering to all company policies, procedures, and safety protocols

Working in a team environment and supporting our SIL home participant/s

What we're looking for

A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar community support or caregiving role, or lived experience

A genuine passion for working with elderly and disabled individuals

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

The ability to work independently and as part of a team

Excellent time management and organisational skills

A current driver's licence and reliable vehicle
