Prince of Peace Lutheran College is a K-12 co-educational, independent, Christian school located in the north-western suburbs of Brisbane. Prince of Peace Lutheran College offers classes on two sites from Kindergarten to Year 12 with approximately 700 students enrolled. The Junior Campus (K-6) is located at Rogers Parade West, Everton Park. The Middle & Senior Campus, 1 km away at Henderson Road, Everton Hills was opened in July 2009 and is home to Years 7-12.

Prince of Peace Lutheran College is inviting applications for the permanent part-time position of First Aid School Officer to work with the College Administration on the Senior Campus.
This role is 25 hours per week (0.66 FTE), with hours to be distributed across the working week during term time between 8:00am to 1:30pm, Monday to Friday.
The successful applicant will demonstrate:
You will be a welcoming face to the students at our college, being warm, approachable and friendly
You are capable and energetic, able to communicate professionally with parents, students and staff and able to direct queries through the appropriate channels
Key responsibilities:
Duty of care
Medications/documentation and administration as required
First Aid
Sick Bay
First Aid Kits - prep and compliance
Emergency support - contact ambulance
General Administration
Maintaining student files and records including updating student/family information
Excursions, Incursions and Camps
Organising student medications
Ensure First Aid Kits are ready to take on Excursions and Camps
Skills, Experience and Qualifications
Direct experience in a school setting is desirable but not essential. This role is equally suited to those currently in a similar role or anyone looking to grow their skills and knowledge from a current entry level role. It is most important you have a growth mindset and can demonstrate you have a genuine interest in contributing to the development of a positive workplace.
Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
Senior certificate in First Aid, or be able to obtain this certificate (it is essential to maintain a current first aid and CPR certificate)
Currently hold or ability to obtain Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue card prior to commencement.
Microsoft Office experience is essential and knowledge with SEQTA / TASS is desirable
The position is a part-time position - term time - Working 8:00am to 1:30pm Monday to Friday.
