About the role

Join the Create Build Enjoy team as a Carpenter specialising in outdoor structures and Extensions. Based in Canberra, ACT, this position is ideal for an experienced building professional who takes pride in their work and wants to contribute to the success of a growing company. As a Patio Builder, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality outdoor living spaces and extensions to our clients.

What you'll be doing

Interpret and follow architectural plans to construct patios, pergolas, and extensions

Collaborate with the project management team to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of projects

Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment

Provide excellent customer service and liaise with clients throughout the project lifecycle

Mentor and guide junior team members to develop their skills

What we're looking for

Minimum 3 years of experience as a Carpenter or similar construction role

Strong working knowledge of patio and outdoor structure design, construction, and installation

Proficient in reading and interpreting architectural drawings and specifications

Ability to work independently

Excellent time management and problem-solving skills

Commitment to safety and quality workmanship

Positive attitude and strong customer service focus

OHS General Induction Card (White Card), ACT Approved Asbestos Awareness Certificate, and Silica Awareness Certificate

Ability to obtain a security pass and/or clearance if required

Must possess own vehicle, ladders and professional carpentry tools suitable for patio and extension construction
