What you’ll be doing:

Partnering with the CEO to deliver statutory and financial management reports.

Managing banking transactions, reconciliations and financial reporting.

Processing assets, plant and associated transactions.

Coordinating day-to-day financial operations.

Leading audit preparation and ensuring compliance.

Supporting and guiding the finance team with general accounting expertise.

Providing backup support across finance and front counter services, including Australia Post.

What we’re looking for:

You’ll bring:

A strong understanding of Local Government finance functions, standards and legislation.

A Certificate IV or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or Business—or at least 2 years of experience in a similar local government role.

A sharp eye for detail, a love for numbers, and a proactive, team-oriented mindset.
