Chef Cook Apprentice
Coomera Waters Tavern
Posted 8 days ago
I’m searching for a chef/ cook/ apprentice and the wage and structure will be determined by experience. I’m reopening my restaurant after closing during covid and have only been running my waterfront tavern downstairs for the last few years so this is a great opportunity to be a part of an award winning very loved family restaurant. As the owner / chef I did my training at West Ryde catering college learning proper traditional techniques that I still use today. The focus is on using a great base product and cooking it right not having to mask with strong sauces etc. I’ve owned the business for 25 years and most of my staff have been with me for a considerable time. I’m passionate about using great produce but also like a have a good time. It is a must to have your own transport as there is no public transport in the area. The job is for afternoon- night Wednesday to Saturday so 3 straight days off a week straight shifts. We are located on the Coomera waters marina with stunning views. This job unfortunately does not have the opportunity for sponsorship so please don’t waste both our time but I am up for working visas who can work 30 hours per week. I do ask there is at least 1 year recently working in a similar role and as with any small business you be super reliable. I look forward to hearing from you you if you think this may suit.
