The Role:

We are looking for a Senior or Supervisor Accountant who enjoys working on a varied mix of compliance and advisory work, but who also has an appetite for leadership. This person will manage client relationships and support a junior team.

Duties:

• Managing a broad client base portfolio
• Managing the completion/reviewing of financial statements, tax returns, and BAS/IAS for companies, trusts, individuals, and sole traders
• Providing general accounting and tax planning advice to clients
• Supporting and training junior team members
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients as well as taking the lead on client interaction

About you:

• CA or CPA qualified (or overseas equivalent)
• Minimum 4+ years' experience in Australian public practice
• Experienced in mentoring junior staff
• Competent with software including QuickBooks, Xero, and MYOB
• Enjoy building rapport, being client-facing and service-orientated
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
