A well-established CA firm in Sydney CBD is currently seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. They are a modern accounting and business advisory firm and have developed a strong reputation in the marketplace demonstrated by a growing client base ranging across SMEs, large consolidated groups, HNW family groups, investments and SMSFs.

The role:

As a Senior Accountant, your role will involve (but not be limited to) the following:

Preparation and review of financial statements and tax returns for individuals, partnerships, trusts, companies, SMSFs and various group structures

Attending to taxation matters including Div7A, GST, FBT & CGT

Working with clients on future business decisions including structuring, tax planning and tax strategies

Ad-hoc advice work

Train and review work of junior/intermediate accountants

The candidate:

At least 5-6+ years' business services/tax experience in a local accounting firm

CA/CPA qualified

Excellent written and verbal communication skills due to the client facing nature of role

Ability to manage and review work of accounting staff
