APS6 Policy Officer

Are you a strategic and analytical professional with a passion for public policy? We are looking for a dedicated Policy and Reform Officer to join one of our clients' dedicated team. This is a chance to play a key role in the design and implementation of regulatory policy and reform, contributing to meaningful outcomes for the community.

This position is ideal for a proactive and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for conducting research, drafting high-quality documentation, and fostering strong stakeholder relationships to support critical reform initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Policy and Research: Conduct research and analysis from a broad range of sources to support the design, development, and implementation of effective regulatory policy and reform.
• Documentation & Briefing: Prepare and progress high-standard documentation, including reports, work plans, and budget documents. You will also assist with briefings and manage ministerial correspondence.
• Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development of team objectives, work plans, and strategic planning, helping to shape the direction of the reform agenda.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and maintain strong working relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders to support policy development and implementation.
