We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate Support Workers for casual positions across the Logan Region. Areas of service include Park Ridge, Hillcrest, Jimboomba, Flagstone, North Maclean, Greenbank, Berrinba, and Tanah Merah, Logan Village and Beaudesert.

As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our clients by providing high-quality, person-centred care and support.

About the Role

You will be responsible for:

• Providing personal care (e.g. showering, grooming, toileting)
• Assisting with domestic tasks (e.g. cleaning, laundry)
• Preparing meals and supporting with nutrition plans
• Assisting clients with community access and social activities
• Providing support at respite centres
• Travelling between client homes during your shift

What We Offer

• $44.59 per hour (AM rate) plus penalties and allowances
• Paid travel time between clients
• Reimbursement for kilometres travelled during shifts
• Flexible weekday shifts (Monday to Friday only)
• Minimum requirement of 1-2 shifts per week
• Immediate start available for the right candidates
• Choice of long shifts (6-7 hours) or short shifts (4-5 hours), typically scheduled from morning to afternoon.

About You - Required Qualifications and Documents

To be considered, you must have:

• Minimum one year of paid experience in aged care or disability support
  OR Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability or Aged Care)
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card)
• Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
• National Police Check issued within the last 3 years
• Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
• Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module: "Quality, Safety and You"
• Proof of current flu vaccination
• Current Australian driver's licence
• Registered, insured, and roadworthy personal vehicle
• Full Australian working rights
