About the role

Are you an experienced and skilled vinyl layer looking for an exciting new opportunity? As a Vinyl Layer at Professional Floor Services, you will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of high-quality vinyl flooring in residential, commercial and industrial settings. This is a full-time position based in Knoxfield, Victoria, offering competitive pay and the chance to work with an established and reputable flooring company.

What you'll be doing

Accurately measuring, cutting, and installing vinyl flooring to the highest industry standards

Preparing subfloors by repairing any damage or unevenness

Ensuring all work is completed in a safe and professional manner

Providing excellent customer service and liaising with clients throughout projects

Maintaining a clean and organised work environment

Assisting with other flooring-related tasks as required

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years' experience as a vinyl layer or similar flooring installation role

Strong attention to detail and ability to work to high standards of quality

Good manual dexterity and physical fitness to perform the duties of the role

Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation

Ability to work independently as well as as part of a team

Current driver's licence, White Card and Working with Children's check
