About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the team at Philip Smyth Visual Creations as a Sign and Vinyl Installer on a contract basis. Based in Ballarat, VIC, you will be responsible for the installation of high-quality signage, graphics and vinyl wraps for a diverse range of commercial clients. As a skilled trades professional, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional results and contributing to the company's continued growth and success.

What you'll be doing

Accurately measure, cut and install various signage materials including vinyl, ACM, corflute and other substrates

Prepare surfaces for installation, ensuring proper cleaning and degreasing

Liaise with clients to understand their requirements and provide expert advice on the best installation solutions

Operate specialist equipment such as vinyl cutters, application tools and lifts with a high degree of care and precision

Maintain a clean, safe and organised work environment at all times

Collaborate with the wider team to deliver projects on time and to the highest standard

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a Sign or Vinyl Installer with minimum 5 years experience in the industry.

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy

Strong manual dexterity and physical stamina to handle the demands of the role

Proficient in the use of specialist installation equipment and tools

Excellent communication and customer service skills

A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional results

A flexible and adaptable approach to work, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
