About the role

Barossa 4x4 and Outdoors is seeking an experienced Mechanic to join our team in Greenock, SA 5360. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing a range of vehicles and caravans. As our Mechanic, you will use your expertise to ensure our customers' vehicles are running at their best.

What you'll be doing

Conducting regular servicing and maintenance on 4WD, cars and caravans

Diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues in a timely and efficient manner

Performing a range of repairs, 4WD installs including bullbars, suspension etc and electrical troubleshooting

Intermediate level electrical troubleshooting experience is required

Adhering to all safety protocols and ensuring a clean, organised workshop environment

Providing exceptional customer service and communicating effectively with clients

Staying up-to-date with the latest automotive technologies and techniques

What we're looking for

Completion of an automotive mechanic apprenticeship or equivalent qualification

Proven experience as a Mechanic, particularly with 4WD's and caravans is an advantage

3-5 years of general automotive mechanic experience is required

Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills

Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure

Good communication skills and customer service orientation

Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and industry developments

Essential requirement for Australian work rights
