Scrub Scout - Orthopaedics | Private Hospital

We’re partnering with a modern private hospital in Melbourne seeking experienced Scrub Scouts to join their orthopaedic theatre team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive environment that values teamwork, patient care, and ongoing professional development.

About the Hospital

• Recently built, state-of-the-art facility with five operating theatres
• 60-bed private hospital offering a range of surgical specialties, including orthopaedics, urology, ENT, plastics, and general surgery
• Modern, patient-centred environment with a strong focus on quality and safety

The Role

• Provide high-quality perioperative nursing care as part of the orthopaedic Scrub/Scout team
• Assist across a variety of orthopaedic procedures, from joint replacements to sports injuries
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anaesthetists, and the broader theatre team
• Permanent full-time and part-time options available

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Scrub/Scout Registered Nurse
• Current AHPRA registration as an RN
• Orthopaedic experience highly regarded but not essential
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
