The Vehicle Coordination Officer is accountable to the Site Manager- Impound (based at either Salisbury, Edwardstown or Pooraka), in the Contracts, Impound & Armoury Unit for undertaking a range of customer related functions, vehicle movements, database management and administrative tasks which contribute to the provision of enhanced service delivery for impound operations at a designated Impound site. The position is responsible to provide a reliable, calm and professional point of contact for a diverse range of public customers.
The Contracts, Impound & Armoury Unit within SAPOL’s Physical Assets Services Branch (PASB) is responsible for management and oversight of SAPOL’s asset related contracts. The Unit is also accountable for managing effective operations in support of vehicles seizures under Criminal Law (Clamping, Impounding and Forfeiture) Act 2007, and management of SAPOL’s metropolitan and regional Impound facilities.
PASB is comprised of seven units: Capital Projects Unit, Major Projects Unit, Strategic Infrastructure & Assets Unit, Contracts, Impound & Armoury Unit, Strategic Operations: Fleet & Property, Facilities Management Unit, and Business Unit. Special Conditions
The incumbent must hold a current Australian work eligibility status and will be subject to a criminal history check.
The incumbent may be assigned to other duties at this remuneration level or equivalent.
Some out of hours work and intra/interstate travel may be required.
The incumbent is required to participate in SAPOL's iEngage program.
Salary
ASO3 - $67,589 - $72,033 per annum.
