We are currently looking for a SeniorInterior Designer with a minimum of 7 years’ experience in retail, exhibition or experiential design.

This is an outstanding opportunity to join a leading, multi-disciplinary agency and work alongside branding, graphics and advertising specialists on simply stunning projects.

A crucial responsibility will be receiving design briefs and developing high-end, cutting-edge conceptual design solutions through sketches, concept renders, mood boards and polished visuals to effectively sell the emotive nature of experiences and spatial designs.

You’ll create comprehensive technical packs including construction drawings, installation guides, power plans and high-quality renders for visualisation. You’ll conduct site surveys to inform your designs and source a wide range of materials, fittings and finishes, often requiring physical samples.

Throughout the project lifecycle, you'll oversee on-site execution and prototype stages, ensuring design intent is met, and collaborate with external contractors like fabricators, structural engineers and lighting designers. Strong communication skills will be essential to promote and explain your ideas in a collaborative and constructive manner.

Being involved in all aspects of the project process will give you the chance to flex your conceptual muscles and still apply your technical and coordination skills. You’ll also be mentoring and inspiring a small team of junior designers.

Essential Skills, Experience & Attributes

• 7+ years of experience
• Advanced proficiency using Vectorworks 2D and 3D, and Photoshop
• Keen interest to research and apply AI software
• Extensive Retail and/or Exhibition design experience
• Excellent drawing skills, including hand sketching
• Strong background in 3D modelling, visualisation and detailed documentation
• Understanding of BCA, building and safety regulations
• Capable of working under pressure and to deadlines, as well as managing others
• Advanced organisational skills
• Excellent communication, negotiation and management skills
• Collaborative team player who can work cohesively with a range of design streams
• An intuitive problem solver with strong research skills

You’ll be expected to present and deliver high quality concept design solutions in a fast-paced environment to a wide range of clients. Must have strong concept design and 3D presentation skills and be highly proficient on Vectorworks.
