Positions: Early Childhood Educator

As an Educator at Darwin Montessori, you will have the opportunity to shape young minds through meaningful, child-centered learning experiences while working alongside a highly skilled and collaborative team.

This advertisement covers multiple positions, and duties will be adjusted according to each candidate’s experience and skill level. Above-award wages are also negotiable based on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities :

(Depending on your level and experience, you will receive appropriate guidance and coaching to support your professional growth and develop your leadership skills.)

Lead the delivery of high-quality educational programs, in line with Montessori principles .

Assist in the preparation of materials and equipment for children's educational and recreational activities.

Manage children's behaviour and guiding their social development.

Prepare and conducting activities for children.

Engage children through reading and interactive games.

Supervise children during recreational activities.

Oversee the daily routines of children.

Ensure proper hygiene and safety of children.

Provide care and supervision for children in programs.

Requirements:

The candidate must hold at least an ACECQA-approved Diploma or at least a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care.

The candidate must have 1-2 years of relevant experience.

A passion for Montessori education and a willingness to learn and embrace its philosophy.

Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.

Current Working with Children Check (WWCC).

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
