About the role

Join a thriving plant delivery service as an HR Body Truck Driver. In this full-time role based in Chandler, Queensland, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of plants and gardening materials to customers across the Brisbane region. Leveraging your expertise in operating heavy vehicles, you will play a key role in supporting the company's mission to bring nature closer to homes and businesses.

What you'll be doing

Operate a heavy rigid vehicle, including an HR body truck, to transport plants

Ensure the safe loading, transport, and unloading of cargo while adhering to all relevant road rules and regulations

Maintain the cleanliness and roadworthiness of the vehicle, performing routine checks and basic maintenance as required

Provide outstanding customer service by handling customer inquiries and requests with professionalism and care

Work collaboratively with the logistics team to optimise delivery routes and schedules

Contribute to the continuous improvement of the company's delivery processes and practices

What we're looking for

Hold a current Heavy Rigid (HR) driver's licence

Demonstrate min 1 years experience in operating heavy vehicles, with a strong focus on safety and efficiency

Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders

A commitment to maintaining a high level of vehicle and cargo care

A keen eye for detail and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
