About the Role Chandler Macleod is currently seeking multiple experienced Civil Supervisors to join a dynamic team delivering rail renewal projects. This is a fantastic opportunity to work as part of an owner's team, overseeing the planning and execution of critical infrastructure works. You will be responsible for leading contractor teams, ensuring safety compliance, and driving performance across multiple work fronts.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coach contract partners in applying risk assessment tools (JHA, Take 5, SWP, CRM).
• Conduct infield safety leadership coaching with a focus on critical risk management.
• Attend and contribute to daily meetings including pre-starts, HSE, planning, and lessons learned sessions.
• Issue and monitor work permits in accordance with site procedures.
• Manage contractor and supplier engagement and performance.
• Monitor compliance with CMS terms, conditions, and KPIs.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve project outcomes.
• Provide business context and leadership in team and stakeholder meetings.
• Drive productivity improvements and foster a strong safety culture.
• Ensure accurate reporting, timesheet submission, and budget alignment.

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in safety leadership and frontline management.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams on both owner and client sides.
• Strong planning, resource allocation, and project management skills.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Sound computer literacy and administrative skills.

Preferred Background / Industry Experience:

• Civil (Bulk earthworks) experience desirable
• Contractor management experience
• Experience in a leadership rolles
Material logistics
• Quality assurance
