Plico is expanding our in-house installation team to deliver high-quality residential solar-and-battery systems—and battery retrofits (AC coupled) —connected to our Virtual Power Plant (VPP). What you’ll do

Install, configure and commission residential solar-and-battery systems—and battery retrofits (AC coupled).

Enable grid connection & VPP participation: complete DER applications, settings and commissioning to Western Power/Synergy requirements.

Lead a small crew on site: allocate tasks, ensure JHAs/permits, toolbox talks and site safety.

Diagnose & rectify faults: inverters, batteries, communications, monitoring portals; complete warranty swaps when needed.

Deliver to standards + Plico QA benchmarks.

Close-out properly: photos, test sheets, CoC/ESCs, manuals, handover and accurate digital records.

What you’ll bring

WA Electrical Worker Licence (current) and living in WA.

SAA Solar & Battery Accreditation (essential) with proven residential solar-battery experience.

Solid understanding of AS/NZS 4777, 5033, 5139 and WA distribution/DER processes.

Strong fault-finding, neat workmanship, and pride in compliance.

Clear communication, teamwork and a safety-first mindset.

White Card, CPR/LVR (within 12 months), Working at Heights.

Valid driver’s licence.

Previous experience working on Alpha ESS, Sigenergy and Redback Technologies hybrid systems will be advantageous.

Package

$65 - $75+ per hour + penalties + overtime.

$10k sign on bonus immediate and $10k bonus on completion of first 15 Installs.

Generous bonuses per installation completed = opportunity to double your hourly rate.

Company provided Milwaukee power tools.

Take home maintained work vehicle with fuel card.

Laptop/Tablet/Phone.

Allowance for your own solar + battery or battery only system.

SAA Battery Certification if not already attained.
