We are looking to welcome some new faces to our Family-owned business who have a passion for hospitality, management and team leading in our highly esteemed and established boutique Hotel in the beautiful town of Warwick in the Darling Downs.

This position would be ideal for a couple looking for rent free living with all rates included who would oversee all booking and reservation management, general maintenance and guest relations, co-ordination of events, while maintaining our untarnished and renowned reputation.

We are ideally looking for a couple who have experience in the Hotel/Motel/hospitality industry, however we are not opposed to training people willing to learn and relocate.

The Abbey at Warwick is a 4.7-star Google review Hotel (4.8 star on trip advisor). The building itself is a beautifully renovated and heritage renowned manor that stands in a class of its own. Whilst we accommodate Hotel guests, we are currently expanding our events, particularly our weddings.

Your key responsibilities include:

Handling guest enquiries and relations regarding the management of bookings, guest satisfaction and overseeing their general comfort, both in person, over phone and email correspondence.

Become fluent in knowledge of our booking system – “Little Hotelier.”

Handling cash and EFTPOS takings.

Proper care and consideration regarding guests accounting and payment information.

Ordering of linen which is outsourced.

Organising caterers and wait staff.

Liaising with parties for events.

General Maintenance, including but not limited to, the gardens, lawns, and the building.

Keeping an active role in overseeing that the general cleanliness and hygiene is maintained and organised by housekeeping, this is something you will only have to assist with in case where staff are off work unexpectedly.

Stock control and ordering.

Rostering of staff and ensuring staff welfare and morale.

Working with, and promoting, when and where possible the interests of the town, other business owners and regional Queensland.
