About the role

JOSTRANS PTY LTD is seeking an experienced Warehouse Forklift Operator to join our team in Lara, Victoria. As a full-time forklift operator, you will play a crucial role in the efficient and safe operation of our warehouse facility, ensuring the smooth movement and storage of inventory.

What you'll be doing

Operating various types of forklifts to move, stack and retrieve materials and products within the warehouse

Carefully loading and unloading trucks to ensure the safe transportation of goods

Maintaining accurate inventory records and reporting on stock levels

Adhering to all health and safety procedures to minimise workplace risks

Collaborating with the warehouse team to optimise workflow and productivity

Performing routine maintenance and inspections on forklift equipment

What we're looking for

Demonstrated experience as a forklift operator, preferably within a warehousing or logistics environment

Forklift licence or certification (such as a Licence to Operate a Forklift Truck)

Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Good communication and interpersonal skills
