About the Position:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and organised Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our housekeeping team. As the Housekeeping Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall presentation of our holiday park accommodations. Your commitment to excellence will ensure that our guests enjoy a comfortable and memorable stay. We have a casual position available.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise: Lead and motivate a team of housekeeping staff, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
Rostering and Schedule Allocation: Create and manage schedules for housekeeping staff, including rostering, and allocating cabins to be cleaned.
Quality Assurance: Ensure your team upholds high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the park’s cabins and communal areas by conducting regular inspections and audits, and completing linen returns.
Inventory Management: Oversee stock levels for cleaning supplies and cabin essentials and coordinate with management to replenish as needed.
Training and Development: Train new team members and provide ongoing coaching to existing team members to enhance their skills.
Workplace Safety: Adhere to workplace safety regulations, ensuring a secure environment for both staff and guests
Guest Satisfaction: Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests promptly and professionally.
Collaboration: Work with reception and grounds staff to enhance the overall guest experience.
About You:
Availability Mon-Fri, estimating ~30 hours/week.
Experience: Previous experience in housekeeping essential.
Leadership: Ability to lead and inspire a team.
Strong Interpersonal skills: Approachable, reliable and team-minded; builds positive working relationships and encourages positive workplace culture.
Attention to Detail: A keen eye for cleanliness and presentation.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to provide clear instructions and feedback to team members.
Problem-Solving: Ability to handle challenges and resolve issues effectively.
Flexibility: Willingness to work weekends and public holidays as required.
Requirements
Own Transport: Must have reliable transportation to work.
Physical Stamina: Physically fit to perform housekeeping tasks.
Reliability: Punctuality and dependability are crucial.
