Our team has extensive experience in mechanical, electrical, automation and process engineering combined with subcontractors in commercial and industrial design and construction. With a growing project portfolio across Australia, we are seeking to compliment our team with another Senior Mechanical Engineer to extend our capacity in the engineering disciplines.

Qualifications & experience

Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering with minimum of 10+ years experience

Significant experience in industrial and commercial mechanical systems, covering design, process improvements installations and process control

Competency in relevant software for engineering assessments to produce technical designs

Competency in Autodesk and Tekla products such as 2D, 3D Acad and Inventor including 3D scanning (preferable)

Extensive experience in project delivery

Task & Responsibilities

Lead the execution of engineering designs, project work and maintenance improvements supported by engineering teams at both client and GSD Engineering & Project Management sites

Produce engineering solutions, including design drawings, schedules and estimates for project works

Lead GSD staff and contract resources during project execution within areas of expertise and contributing to engineering teams

Management of GSD Engineering employees and engineering team functions

Assist in marketing, development and maintaining client and GSD Engineering business standards, compliance with Australian Standards and mandatory site safety standards
