We're looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic OSHC Coordinator who knows how to bring the fun! You'll be responsible for creating exciting activities and experiences that ignite children's imaginations and keep them engaged after school. Responsibilities:
Plan and lead a variety of fun and interactive activities, from arts and crafts to outdoor adventures.
Adhere to the child safe standards ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children.
Lead the compliance and continuous improvement of the site, whilst aiming to exceed the National quality standards.
Be the ultimate mentor for kids, joining in on games and activities with boundless energy and enthusiasm.
Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere where every child feels valued and supported.
Use your creativity to develop new and exciting program ideas that keep kids coming back for more.
To have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills and ability to work well with a team.
Embrace your inner kid and let your personality shine as you connect with children and build meaningful relationships.
Support the diverse needs of the children in our care, whilst working alongside allied health professionals.
Qualifications:
Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent qualification).
Diploma in community services, education support, youth work, disability
Bachelor of Arts (recreation, youth affair, youth studies)
Bachelor of Physical Education
Bachelor of Sports Science (youth work, exercise science)
Diploma/Bachelor of Youth Work
Bachelor of Social Work
Diploma in teaching of education
Diploma of community services
Diploma of Community Welfare Work
Post-secondary qualifications in the fields of health or allied health including but not limited to audiology, speech pathology, occupational therapy, psychology, social work, physiotherapy, dietetics and specialist therapies such as music and movement
Current First Aid, CPR, and Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications.
EMPLOYEE Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
Ability to think outside the box, use initiative and bring fresh ideas to the table.
Previous experience working with children in a childcare or recreational setting is a plus.
Mandatory reporting certificate
Food safety certificate
Other short courses suggested to support operations of the service

Shift times are varied between
Part time and casual positions available.
Shifts are between
-6.30am-9am and 2.30pm-6.30pm during the School term. PLUS planning/admin time.
-6:30am-6:30pm during School Holidays.
