Auto King Mobile Mechanics has a vacancy for a Motor Mechanic at their business.

This permanent, full time position expands across the Southport area.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

a. Detect and diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in engines and parts
b. Dismantle and remove engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms, and other components, and check parts.

c. Repair and replace worn and defective parts, reassemble mechanical components, and refer to service manuals as needed.

d. Perform scheduled maintenance services, such as oil changes, lubrications, and engine tune-ups, to achieve smoother running of vehicles and ensure compliance with pollution regulations.

e. Reassemble engines and parts after repair.

f. Test and adjust mechanical parts after repair for proper performance.

g. Diagnose and test parts with the assistance of computers.

h. Inspect vehicles and issue roadworthiness certificates or detail work required to achieve roadworthiness.

i. Respond to vehicle breakdown service calls as needed

j. 40 Hours per week + overtime

Skills, Qualifications and Experience:

To qualify this position, you will have a Certificate III for 3 years or equivalent or relevant experience.

Minimum 3 years experience on the job

Remuneration/Salary:

$75,000 to $80,000 + super per annum

Remuneration will reflect current market conditions and industry award rates.
