Eltham Learning Centre For Children, is currently seeking a dedicated early childhood educator to join our team. Hours are flexible and happy to accommodate the successful candidate.

Candidates must have a minimum of 6 months early childhood education experience.

At our early learning centre we provide care and educational programs for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years. All of our educators are experienced, qualified and dedicated to the profession.

This position is to start from October 2025 and requires candidates that are positive, flexible, mature and enjoy working as part of a team. Our service is fully renovated, both indoors and outdoors which creates a welcoming environment for both educators and children.

The centre is open between the hours of 7:00am and 6:00pm Monday to Friday for 52 weeks of the year.

Applicants must have completed a minimum of Certificate 3 in children's services, as listed as an approved qualification on the ACECQA website.

Successful applicants must have a:

Certificate 3 in Children's Services (as per ACECQA qualification list)

Or/ Diploma of Children's Services (as per ACECQA qualification list)

Current Employment Working with Children Check

Current First Aid & Anaphylaxis Training

Current Child Protection Training

Current Food Handlers Training

Have knowledge of the National Quality Framework and the National Quality Standard

Excellent communication skills
